ArchInform
It contains a very huge database of architects and their projects, you can go through a directory of the famous architects in the world, and find pictures and information about the architect and his projects.
When you visit the site, you will find some icons on the left side. It enables you to search by:
- - Person (architect name, like Johnnson for Philip Johnson)
- – Location (of a project like Chicago to find buildings built there)
- – Keyword (like museum to find a building type).
To search by architect, click the person icon and choose the first letter of the surname (last name) of your architect, in our example click the letter(J). You may find strange strings like (Ja-Ji), (Jh-Jm), (Jn-Jz) which means that there is a big list under this letter, and you should search by the first 2 letters of the name, on our example Johnson click (Jn-Jz) .
After you choose his name from the list, you will find a picture of the architect, scroll the page, till you find the names of the projects, click what you need .
Notice that the project which has a ball beside it has pictures.
When you inter the project you will find the picture and small information.
You will click at the picture, it will bee displayed in a bigger size. You can save it if you like
Click the back arrow to return to the small picture, if you find two small arrows beside the small picture, that means there is a lot of views of the same project.
Click at the forward small arrow to get the second picture and repeat the same steps.
The same applies on search by location or keyword.
