The Great Building Site

Dear friends
Let me tell about another Architecture archive site on the web, its name is "The Great Buildings" and it is really great!
When you get there, you will find a lot of categories that you can search by, like "Architects, buildings, 3d Models, places, Architecture Books, Types of buildings, style of buildings, The top hits of Architects and Ancient buildings …."
In the Architects search: you will find the Alphabet in one line, you can press the letter of the Architect that you search for, you will get the names of all the architects that begin with this letter.

Example:

when you search for "Frank Loyd Wright" , press the letter (W), then choose "Frank Loyd Wright",
his page contains the names of his projects, some of them will be written in bold letters, that means it contains pictures of the projects, some of these bold will have "3D Model" written in front it, that means it has 3D model of the project, but it needs a plug-in to the Internet browser to let you veiw the 3D Model.

when you press on the building you need, one picture of the building will appear, name of the Architect, the place which the project is built, description of the building, some information about the Architect and the type of the building.

you can find the plans of some projects but by buying a CD, this site is promoting a full archive of buildings on a CD with more pictures, plans and 3D models .
there are (text only) Information about some Architects like Hassan Fat’hi, they are talking about him an El-Gourna, But no images for his projects

you can search for the building that you need, or by the kind of the weather,
such as the desert, a page will appear containing all the buildings that was built in the desert, including the ancient buildings.
Ancient Egypt has a page in this site and it contains some of the ancient Egyptian buildings
